San Francisco

San Francisco is often called "everyone's favorite city." This beautiful city with a vibrant history hosts millions of visitors every year. Museums, theatres, and world-class dining abound among some of the city's most recognizable landmarks and attractions such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz, and Chinatown. San Francisco's unique geography is complimented by a mix of Victorian and modern architecture, and the city's diversity has led to neighborhoods with distinct flavors that make for excellent exploring.

Within the proximity of the San Francisco Bay Area are Napa Valley and Silicon Valley, the foremost regions of wine production and technological innovation in the United States. Notable universities in the Bay Area include Stanford University, the University of California, San Francisco, and the University of California, Berkeley.

There is something here for everyone, and a visit to San Francisco is sure to be fulfilling and exciting. See the San Francisco Visitors Bureau website for more ideas on things to do and see during your stay.
